Find Your Session

Peaceful massage room with a treatment table and soft lighting.

What You Can Expect

Every session begins with listening. Whether this is your first massage or your hundredth, we’ll begin with a conversation about how you’re feeling, what you hope to receive, and what your body may need that day.

There is no pressure to know exactly which technique to choose. Your session will be thoughtfully tailored using therapeutic massage, myofascial work, and other supportive approaches as appropriate. Throughout the session, we can adjust the pace, pressure, and focus as your body responds.

My goal is simple: to help you feel heard, cared for, and more at home in your body.

A Somatic Approach

Your body is always communicating, sometimes through pain or tension, and sometimes through fatigue, shallow breathing, or difficulty truly relaxing.

A somatic approach means paying attention to those messages with curiosity rather than judgment. Alongside skilled therapeutic bodywork, I work with an awareness of how the nervous system influences tension, posture, movement, stress, and recovery.

When your body feels supported and listened to, it often becomes easier to soften, unwind, and reconnect with yourself.

You do not need to know anything about somatics before you arrive. Just come as you are. We’ll begin there.

Your time matters.

When you schedule a 60-minute session, you’ll receive 60 full minutes of hands-on care.

Time spent talking before your session or getting settled afterward is never taken away from the care you’ve reserved.

Likewise, supportive additions such as hot towels, aromatherapy, stretching, or cupping are included whenever they’ll best support your session.

Techniques & Modalities

Every session is tailored to your needs, and you do not need to choose a modality before arriving. Depending on your goals and what your body is communicating that day, I may draw from one or more of the approaches below.

Custom-Tailored Bodywork

Custom-tailored bodywork is the foundation of my practice. We’ll begin with a conversation about how you’re feeling, your goals, and what your body needs that day.

Swedish Massage

Ideal when your body is asking for rest, Swedish massage uses flowing, nurturing techniques to quiet the nervous system, improve circulation, and ease muscular tension. It’s often the perfect choice when stress has become as exhausting as physical pain.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue isn’t about using more pressure. It’s about using the right pressure in the right places. By working thoughtfully into deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue, this approach can help relieve persistent tension, improve mobility, and address patterns of discomfort that have built up over time. My goal is always effective treatment, not unnecessary pain.

Hot Stone Therapy

Warm basalt stones invite muscles to soften in a way that hands alone sometimes cannot.

The soothing warmth encourages relaxation, improves circulation, and allows deeper work to be performed comfortably. Many clients describe hot stone therapy as deeply calming and restorative, especially during times of stress or cooler months.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping is a gentle technique that uses suction rather than compression to encourage circulation, ease muscle tension, and support the body’s natural healing process.

It can be especially helpful for stubborn areas of tightness, restricted movement, or lingering soreness. When appropriate, cupping is often blended seamlessly into a customized treatment.

Myofascial Release

The fascia is a remarkable web of connective tissue that surrounds and supports every muscle, joint, and organ in your body. When it becomes restricted, it can contribute to pain, stiffness, and limited movement in places that don’t always seem connected.

Using slow, sustained techniques, myofascial release helps restore mobility, reduce discomfort, and improve the way your body moves as a whole.

Neuromuscular Therapy

Neuromuscular Therapy focuses on relieving pain by addressing specific muscles, trigger points, and movement patterns that contribute to ongoing discomfort.

Whether you’re dealing with headaches, neck and shoulder tension, low back pain, or repetitive strain, this focused approach can help reduce pain, restore function, and improve the way your body moves. Treatment is always tailored to your comfort level and individual needs.

Prenatal Massage

Pregnancy asks a great deal of the body, and every stage brings its own unique changes.

Prenatal massage is designed to provide comfort, support, and relief throughout your pregnancy. Using specialized positioning and techniques, sessions can help ease back and hip discomfort, reduce swelling, improve sleep, and create a peaceful space for both you and your growing baby.

Sports Massage

Whether you’re training for your next race, recovering after an event, or simply living an active lifestyle, sports massage can help keep your body moving well.

This treatment focuses on improving mobility, reducing muscle tension, supporting recovery, and helping prevent injury. Sessions may also include assisted stretching and movement techniques to improve flexibility and overall performance.

Thai Bodywork

Thai Bodywork offers a unique experience that’s both deeply restorative and wonderfully energizing.

Unlike traditional massage performed on a table with oils, Thai Bodywork is typically done fully clothed using gentle stretching, rhythmic compression, and guided movement. Many clients describe it as “having yoga done for you.”

It’s an excellent choice for improving flexibility, reducing stiffness, restoring mobility, and helping your body move with greater ease.
